 Wellness Opportunities

1. Working from Home

a. Ask questions (for example find out about current diet: breakfast, mid morning, lunch etc)
b. Recommend a programme, describe the programme starting with breakfast. ” In your breakfast shake we would recommend…..””Get protein into every meal and get a balance of snacks between protein, fruit and fibre. Limit and avoid the carb based snacks”.
c. Personalise the programme (changing key bits of info in a standard email i.e. quantities based on height and weight, recommended daily protein intake etc etc)
d. Provide aftercare support/coaching by phone and email, that could be a weekly phone call, for example.

2.  Wellness Clubs

With New Wellness Clubs there are some additional stages i.e. wellness evaluations,  testing (body fat testing, metabolic age and more). A move away from the “weigh and go” concept of many clubs. Or individuals, reviewing their progress at home using bathroom scales which don't tell them what their body is made of, how much fat they have relative to lean tissue. How much better to record their progress using a very simple body composition analysis. There is an also an education slot where we provide handouts for a 12 week period. At the end of the 12 week challenge then we give out prizes.

So the main activities in a wellness club are registration, body composition analysis, wellness evaluation and education. Do you have one evening free a week? Or it can be at lunchtime, if the wellness club is set up in a large company.

2. New – Wellness Clubs in Health Clubs, Gyms, Leisure Centres
3. New – Wellness Clubs in the Workplace(Large Companies).
4. New – Wellness Clubs in Sports clubs

So many gym goers ignore their diet and don't make the progress they should based on the hours expended. What's typical? Skipping meals, especially breakfast? So exhausted after a workout that they eat a chocolate bar? And too many carbs for someone working in an office: cereal and toast for breakfast, jacket potato for lunch and pasta for dinner, together with a whole range of carbs based snacks including cereal bars.

We find that many individuals visiting health clubs are ignoring their diet and find their gym bags full of chocolate, crisps and fizzy drinks!! Hence the importance of combing diet and fitness to get the best results.
